Humusoil: Partnering with Dundalk FC to Support IPFBA
Last Friday at Oriel Park, the spirit of community and support was on full display as Dundalk FC hosted a bucket collection for the Irish Professional Footballers Benevolent Association (IPFBA). Humusoil was proud to stand alongside this fantastic initiative, our own Paudie Gallogley and Davy Leggett lent their time and energy “on the night,” helping to raise vital funds for former professional players, as acknowledged by IPFBA chairman Harry McCue ipfba.org.
A Night of Giving Back
The event took place before Dundalk’s crucial First Division clash against Cobh Ramblers. Thanks to the generous turnout from supporters, the collection was a resounding success. Every euro raised that evening will assist the IPFBA in its mission, providing welfare support and resources to former players facing hardship .
Teamwork Beyond the Pitch
Humusoil’s involvement highlighted the power of collaboration. Paudie and Davy’s presence ensured that every donation was greeted with gratitude and purpose. Their commitment exemplifies how our company steps up in the community, not merely sponsoring events, but actively participating. By partnering with Dundalk FC and the IPFBA, we’ve helped turn goodwill into real-world impact.
Moving Forward
We’re proud of what was achieved at Oriel Park, but our work doesn’t stop there. Humusoil remains committed to supporting the IPFBA and its former-player welfare initiatives, whether that’s through future collections, sponsorships, or hands-on engagement. We believe that strong footballing communities don’t just support their teams, they support people.
