What’s happening in your soil affects what happens above it
Compaction, soil structure and nutrient availability can all affect how well grass and crops perform.
When soil is under pressure, roots can struggle to access the air, moisture and nutrients they need. Supporting better soil conditions helps create a stronger foundation for growth.
What is Humusoil?
Humusoil is a 100% natural, certified organic fertiliser and soil improver made in Ireland.
It combines humic acid, seaweed and beneficial soil microbes to support soil condition, nutrient availability and biological activity.
It can be used alongside existing farming practices across land, slurry, FYM and livestock bedding.
How Can Humusoil Fit Into Your Farm?
Use Humusoil alongside normal farm routines in several practical ways.
Spray on land
Mix with slurry
Use with FYM
Apply to bedding

How to Apply Humusoil
Choose the method that best fits your existing farming routine.
Spray on land
Dissolve Humusoil in water and apply using a boom sprayer, dribble bar or knapsack. Use approximately 250 litres of water for every 2.5 acres treated.
Mix with slurry
Dissolve Humusoil in water and pour through the slats, or add directly to the slurry tank while agitating. Spread as normal.
Use with FYM
Apply a concentrated Humusoil solution across the surface of the farmyard manure before spreading.
Apply to bedding
Mist Humusoil solution onto fresh bedding as part of your normal bedding routine.

A practical use beyond the field
Rob Collins explains how he used Humusoil with livestock bedding and farmyard manure, producing a more friable material that was easier to handle. He also shares how this helped him reduce the amount of winter storage space he needed for manure on his farm.
